While working at SLR, Richard and Oliver supported Bruntwood SciTech’s detailed planning application for the redevelopment of Melbourn Science Park in Cambridge, comprising circa 46,000 sqm of new floorspace to deliver world class laboratory and coworking space, along with office space for science and technology businesses.

Phil is supporting Tritax Big Box Developments Ltd on the redevelopment of the former Cronton Colliery in Knowsley, close to the M62 Junction 6, to provide up to 1,000,000sq.ft of industrial and logistics floorspace. The site benefits from hybrid and reserved matters planning consents, and we are working with the project team on the transport elements of the delivery phases and to address associated planning conditions.
Birchwood Park
Warrington
Astute Transport Planning were appointed by WBC Birchwood Park Trustee Ltd to advise on the traffic impact to proposals to redevelop Birchwood Park in Warrington. In total the proposals would result in the removal of circa 20,000sqm of office floorspace, with circa 41,000sqm of industrial floorspace then introduced. The proposals also involved the introduction of a 660 space multi-storey car park, with the highway network being tested using JUNCTIONS traffic models.
