While working at SLR, Phil and Oliver supported Mace Group on behalf of the Department for Education gain prior notification application approval for a proposed secondary school development at Wavertree Technology Park, Liverpool. The school is proposed to accommodate 1,050 school pupils aged 11-16.
Clatterbridge Hospital
Clatterbridge Road, Wirral
Phil has supported Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (WUTH) with layout reviews of the car parking areas at Clatterbridge Hospital, including the redesign of staff, visitor and accessible car parking provision. Astute then prepared preliminary design drawings, taking into account existing access and operational requirements at the hospital.
The Olive Primary School
Bolton, Greater Manchester
Phil supported Cushman & Wakefield and the Department for Education to gain temporary planning approval to extend the change of use of Ashton House in Bolton from office to education. This allowed The Olive Primary School, which is state funded, to secure the use of the building for a further period before the school moves to their permanent premises within the next two years.
Arrowe Park Hospital

Phil has supported Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (WUTH) update the Arrowe Park Hospital Travel Plan to reflect layout and operational changes at the site, and to ensure the sustainable transport strategy is as effective as it can be to respond to the travel needs of its staff and visitors.
