While working at SLR, Oliver provided transport planning technical support for the development of a new 12,500 seat Arena, major conference / exhibition centre and hotel on a site south of the River Tyne and Millennium Bridge in Gateshead.
Church House
Manchester City Centre
Astute Transport Planning provided highways and transportation advice in support of a full planning application at Church House in Manchester City Centre on behalf of Criterion Capital. The proposed development changed the site’s use from an office to a hotel, consisting of 125 rooms and 32 capsule pods. The transport submission included a Transport Statement, Framework Travel Plan and Servicing & Waste Management Strategy, and the scheme gained planning consent in November 2025.
