While working at SLR, Richard and Oliver supported Wirral Growth Company’s hybrid planning application for a retail led mixed-use development on land to the east of Pasture Road in Moreton Town Centre, with a new Lidl food store in detail and up to 46 family homes and a 75-bed extra care facility in outline.

While working at SLR, Phil supported Land Securities gain planning consent for two development proposals at Blackpool Retail Park located off Squires Gate Lane, which were a new Iceland Food Warehouse store and a Costa Coffee shop and drive thru unit.

Adam has advised Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd. for many years in relation to the development of their existing and future estate, from local convenience stores, new supermarkets, store extensions, access improvement schemes, parking strategies, delivery management and everything in-between. Working on sites across the north of England and the East Midlands, this work has resulted in Adam having a widespread knowledge of the network and good Council contacts.
Alderley Park Retail Unit

Astute Transport Planning were appointed by Bruntwood SciTech to support a planning application for a new convenience food retail unit on the Alderley Park Estate in Alderley Edge. This sought to convert under-utilised floorspace within the conference centre to create a food and beverage provision which would meet the needs of the employees at Alderley Park, and also provide a facility for residents of the Park, the local community and visitors. This work focused on car parking and deliveries within the context of the wider estate.
