Our Design team is growing – Introducing Engineer, Joe Adams
Joe’s appointment comes at an exciting time for Astute, following the successful launch of our Infrastructure Design business. The strong pipeline of work we have secured has created the need to expand the team, and Joe’s skill set and experience make him an excellent addition as we continue to grow our design capability.
Joe began his career in Transport Planning before transitioning into Civil Engineering, completing a working Degree Apprenticeship at the University of Warwick. He brings over eight years of industry experience, having worked on a range of Active Travel and Highway schemes across the UK. Notable projects include the Sefton Park Active Travel Corridor, where Joe contributed to the delivery of high‑quality, people‑focused infrastructure.
Joe is currently working towards his Incorporated Engineer (IEng) status with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) and is expected to sit his professional review later this year. His blend of technical knowledge, practical project experience and commitment to professional development will be a valuable asset to the business.
We are delighted to welcome Joe to Astute and look forward to seeing his contribution as we continue to build on the momentum of our growing design offer.
